5th GRADE ART CLUB

Hey gang, I just received info about the Design a Reading Phillies jersey contest we participated in. Unfortunately none of the designs were selected, but you will receive 2 free game tickets!

JUNE 27^th TICKETS: Every student that submitted an entry will have 2 Free General Admission tickets waiting at “Will Call” under their names on June 27^th. You can simply visit the Box Office on 6/27 and provide the student name in order to receive 2 Free Tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased at the Box Office at the same time if needed.

Criteria	1-Below Basic (0-76.49%)	2-Basic (76.50-84.49%)	3-Proficient (84.50-92.49%)	4-Advanced (92.5-100%)
Understanding and Application of Key Concepts	The student does not demonstrate understanding of key concepts, artists/artwork or vocabulary. The student does not apply any concepts to the assignment.	The student shows some understanding of key concepts, artists/artwork, or vocabulary. The student does not properly apply knowledge to assignment.	The student understands the concepts, artist/artwork, and vocabulary being taught and successfully applies them to the assignment.	The student demonstrates understanding beyond proficiency. The student applies knowledge from current and previous lessons.
Craftsmanship and Use of Materials	The student demonstrates a complete lack of craftsmanship. The materials were used incorrectly or not at all.	The student lacks craftsmanship. The materials and tools require more practice.	The work shows neatness, precision and care. Materials are used as intended. The student demonstrates appropriate level of skill.	The student’s craftsmanship is impeccable. The student demonstrates exceptional skill and mastery with all materials and tools.
Creativity	The student demonstrates a complete lack of creativity. The assignment is copied or unoriginal.	The student shows some original ideas with a limited amount of details.
