Week of September 16th

Kinders - Primary colors and Piet Mondrian. We will be painting - dress for mess!!!

1st - Continue Kandinsky

2nd - Continue cave art

3rd - Continue engraving on foil

4th - Draw and paint landscape

5th - Continue shading forms. Worksheet due this week!

6th - Continue zentangle, mount if finished.

6th grade - Art club starts this Wednesday. 2:35 until dismissal. Arrive on time and bring your backpack.

Understanding and Application of Key Concepts	The student does not demonstrate understanding of key concepts, artists/artwork or vocabulary. The student does not apply any concepts to the assignment.	The student shows some understanding of key concepts, artists/artwork, or vocabulary. The student does not properly apply knowledge to assignment.	The student understands the concepts, artist/artwork, and vocabulary being taught and successfully applies them to the assignment.	The student demonstrates understanding beyond proficiency. Craftsmanship and Use of Materials	The student demonstrates a complete lack of craftsmanship. The materials were used incorrectly or not at all.	The student lacks craftsmanship. The materials and tools require more practice.	The work shows neatness, precision and care. Materials are used as intended. The student demonstrates appropriate level of skill.
