Week of January 6th

Kinders - Mixing the color green. Evergreen trees. DRESS FOR MESS!!!

1st - Henri Matisse collage

2nd - Roman mosaics

3rd - Organic and geometric shapes

4th - Elements of art - bold line design

5th - Fine art vs. craft. Paper beads

6th - Hand sewing. Stuffed creature

Understanding and Application of Key Concepts	The student does not demonstrate understanding of key concepts, artists/artwork or vocabulary. The student does not apply any concepts to the assignment.	The student shows some understanding of key concepts, artists/artwork, or vocabulary. The student does not properly apply knowledge to assignment.	The student understands the concepts, artist/artwork, and vocabulary being taught and successfully applies them to the assignment.	The student demonstrates understanding beyond proficiency. The student applies knowledge from current and previous lessons.
Craftsmanship and Use of Materials	The student demonstrates a complete lack of craftsmanship. The materials were used incorrectly or not at all.	The student lacks craftsmanship.
